Garmin Issues Mandatory Software Update for GHP Reactor Autopilot SeriesAn issue involving software on GHP Reactor autopilots may cause the unit memory to become corrupted, which may adversely affect the autopilot's performance, up to and including making the unit inoperative. Although not reported to date in any installed systems, in rare circumstances, the autopilot may behave unexpectedly, possibly performing abrupt maneuvers. A mandatory software update for the GHP Reactor Autopilot series, which includes the 12 below listed models, is required to correct the memory corruption issue and potential performance issues, and prevent the unit from becoming inoperative.
